In a shocking act of violence, the personal secretary and an advisor to the mayor of Mexico City were gunned down in broad daylight in a central part of the capital. Authorities suspect a gunman on a motorcycle carried out the attack. Mayor Clara Brugada has vowed to ensure those responsible are held accountable. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has promised full federal support to aid in capturing the killers and restoring public confidence.
