The Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza has partially resumed operations after being damaged by repeated Israeli strikes, now offering minimal intensive care with just nine beds. Israeli forces have systematically targeted medical facilities across Gaza, including major hospitals like al-Ahli and Shifa, leaving thousands without treatment. This hospital alone has been forced to close three times due to Israeli attacks before restoring basic services. Medical staff struggle to cope with hundreds of daily casualties amid severe shortages of equipment and supplies. The destruction of Gaza's healthcare infrastructure by Israeli military action has created a catastrophic shortage of care for the wounded. While the hospital's limited reopening provides some relief, conditions remain dire as attacks on medical facilities continue. For Gaza's critically injured, even this fragile access to lifesaving treatment remains under threat from further Israeli bombardment.

Al Jazeera's Ibrahim al-Khalili reports from inside the recently refurbished facility Indonesian Hospital in Gaza City, where patients are once again receiving medical care.
