A flotilla of boats with families of Israeli captives onboard has left Israel, heading towards Gaza's maritime border.
They departed on a symbolic trip from Ashkelon in southern Israel.
The trip is being named the "50 Sail", in reference to the number of captives still held in Gaza.
Al Jazeera’s Hoda Abdel-Hamid has more from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
She's there because the Israeli government has banded Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel and the occupied West Bank.
