Scenes of desperation unfold in the Nur Shams Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank, as Palestinian families are forced to evacuate ahead of planned demolitions by the Israeli military, carrying only essential belongings. Aid workers, including the Red Crescent, report being barred from assisting, as Israeli forces escalate operations across the region. Recent raids have forcibly displaced tens of thousands of Palestinians, leaving widespread destruction in their wake. Critical infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and water networks, has been intentionally damaged, described as "total destruction." The Israeli military justifies these actions as targeting militants, but many Palestinians view them as efforts to expand Israeli control. Tanks have been deployed for the first time in years, signalling a heightened military presence. The humanitarian crisis deepens as Palestinian residents face displacement and the loss of homes and livelihoods.
