Mexico's deputy health minister says the government must authorise the emergency use of Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine within days.
The country's COVID-19 death toll has crossed 150,000, which is the fourth-highest in the world.
On Sunday, Mexico's president announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19, and was being treated for mild symptoms.
