Foreign policy will play an important role when voters in Germany go to the polls on Sunday.
Since the end of the Second World War, defence spending has been diverted into other areas, in what was known as 'the peace dividend'.
But the war in Ukraine and calls by US President Donald Trump for Europe to increase defence spending, are changing all that.
