The US does not plan to return a man the courts say was wrongly deported to El Salvador.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia is accused of being a member of the Salvadorian gang, MS-13.
In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court ruled the government must bring him home.
But the Department of Justice says it has no power to force El Salvador to release Garcia from prison and send him back to the US.
