A Ugandan lawyer and rights activist, Agather Atuhaire, has been found near Uganda’s border with Tanzania.

She was arrested on Monday alongside Kenyan rights activist Boniface Mwangi who says they were tortured for days.

They were among a group of prominent East Africans who’d travelled to Dar Es Salaam for the treason trial of opposition leader Tundu Lissu.
