Two Israeli embassy staff have been killed in a shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC.
Police say the suspect, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez, has been taken into custody.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry Gideon Saar has named the victims of the Israeli embassy shooting in Washington as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim he also says the killing in Washington is part of a wider trend of what he calls “anti-Semitic attacks” globally.
Al Jazeera's Hamdah Salhut has the latest from Jordanian capital, Amman because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel and the occupied West Bank.
