Pakistan has begun deporting hundreds of thousands of Afghan citizens following the end of the Eid holiday, after a government-set deadline for undocumented Afghans to leave the country expired on Monday. Authorities say the move is part of a wider crackdown on illegal immigration. Rights groups and Afghan families, however, express concern over forced returns and the lack of support upon arrival.
