The UN says worsening conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo has led to a surge in human rights violations.
It’s documented summary executions, bombing of displacement camps and reports of gang rape and other sexual violations.
Al Jazeera spoke to women in Goma, the capital of North Kivu province, who say they were sexually assaulted during fighting between Rwandan-backed M23 rebels and government forces two weeks ago.
