The US says it's ready to take action to enforce the peace accord between Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo.
On Tuesday, Rwandan-backed M23 rebels announced they would withdraw from the city of Uvira in eastern DRC but only if a neutral force was deployed to maintain security.
Life there is cautiously returning to normal.
